WOMEN'S MINISTRIES

 

The Deaconesses

 

Pray for needs within the church and provide encouragement in many ways.

  • The Deaconesses are a Governing Board of the church.
  • Help with Communion and Baptismal Services.
  • Provide support for people in need.



Women's Bible Studies

 

All Women are invited to study the Bible.

  • Tuesday Mornings at 9:30 a.m. in the conference room or
  • Monday Evenings at 7:00 p.m. in the conference room and
  • Sunday Mornings at 9:30a.m.

Both meetings study the same topics so if you are available in the morning or the evening you can attend either one.  These classes are held from September - May.

There is always room for more.  Come join us!

Hospitality

 

The women work together to put on several social events of the year.  Women or men, teens and adults, volunteer and have fun working in the kitchen. It is a way to encourage one another and get connected. Call the office if you wish to help with the hospitality committee.  This group puts on church dinners, social events such as baby or bridal showers and funerals.



Women's Missionary Prayer Fellowship

 

On the first Thursday of the month the women of the church meet at 9:30 a.m. for a time of prayer for the missionaries.  The meeting starts with a devotional lead by one of the women.  In addition to a time of prayer and a devotions there are often service projects for the missionaries.



Women's Summer Fellowship

 

During the summer months the women meet informally on Monday evenings for a time of prayer and of fellowship. 

  • There is no lesson to prepare.
  • There is a different devotional every week so come whenever you can.
  • There will be a time of prayer and fellowship.
