Senior Adult's Ministries

Rise in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God. I am the LORD. Leviticus 19:32 (NIV)

Senior Adults are identified as those adults over 60 years of age.

In addition to the corporate congregational activities, the Senior Adults meet in the following special activities:

A small group Bible Study meets Wednesday mornings at 10:00 a.m.
Many do community service with Meals on Wheels, services at the health care centers and other services in the area.
Seniors Fellowship is held with a variety of activities.
Visitation is available for those Seniors who can no longer get out.
Many Seniors are devoted to prayer for the members of the congregation through the prayer chain, either on E-mail or by phone.
Many opportunities arise informally for a gathering of Senior men for coffee on a regular basis, or a group of single seniors going out together for an evening meal.

This is a vital group to our congregation and well respected by all.
