Prayer Ministries

Rejoice in the Lord always.  I will say it again: Rejoice!
Let your gentleness be evident to all.
The Lord is near.
Do not be anxious about anything,
but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving,
present your requests to God.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:4-7

Prayer opportunities at MPCC

All Church Prayer Meetings Sunday Evenings

On the first and third Sunday Evenings of the month we meet for prayer at 6:30 pm. This is a general prayer time where we pray for the needs within the church, individual needs and for national and world concerns.

Tuesday Prayer Meeting in the Sanctuary

Each Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. the staff meets in the sanctuary to pray with whoever wants to come. This is a time for the prayers of our hearts.

Friday Morning Men's Prayer Breakfast

Friday mornings at 6:00 a.m. the men of the church meet to pray for general needs but also for the needs of the missionaries that we support. It is a time when our missionaries around the world know that they are being prayed for. During this meeting there is also a devotion given by a missionary or a member of the group followed by breakfast.

Women's Missionary Prayer Fellowship

On the first Thursday of the month the women of the church meet at 9:30 a.m. for a time of prayer for the missionaries. The meeting begins with a devotional lead by one of the women. This year the devotional theme of the year is "Women of the Bible."  In addition to a time of prayer and a devotions there are often service projects for the missionaries.

Prayer Chain

There are two prayer chains for the church.  There is a phone prayer chain and and E-mail prayer chain.
